When you pay on thriftsouk, your money is held in escrow — not released to the seller — until you confirm the item matches its description. You can request a full refund if the item significantly differs from the listing photos or description, arrives damaged in transit, is not authentic (for items advertised as authentic), or is not delivered within 14 days of the estimated delivery date. Refund requests must be submitted through the in-app dispute centre within 48 hours of delivery so we can collect evidence from both sides.
Refunds aren't issued for change of mind after purchase, minor variations in colour caused by screen calibration, items accurately described as having visible wear or defects, items where tags or seals have been removed, or disputes opened after the 48-hour window. We encourage buyers to review every photo, measurement and condition note before completing checkout.
Open the order from your Orders page and tap "Open Dispute". Add clear photos showing the issue, reference the parts of the listing that don't match, and submit. Our UAE-based moderation team typically reviews and decides within 48 hours. If the dispute is upheld in your favour, you'll receive a full refund — including any shipping fees and the Buyer Protection charge — back to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
